The systems are now shipped with Windows 98 Operating System Product Recovery CD that looks like the above. This CD can only be used on a Fujitsu Technology Solutions Computer.

Windows 98 Windows NT

 

Windows 98 Recovery for B2130

1. Enter the BIOS F2 and Load Setup Defaults.
Once Defaults have been loaded under the Boot Menu change the Boot Priority so that FLOPPY DISK (A:)is listed as first device.
2. Exit BIOS Saving Changes, Machine will restart and Boot from the Floppy Drive.
3. Insert the Recovery Boot Diskette Provided with you Mini CD or Click here to download the Latest Version (recomended).
4. When prompted type Select the option to install windows from the CDRom Drive.
5. Follow the On-Screen Instructions and install Windows 98.
6. Once Windows has installed you need to install the remaining drivers and utilities. These can be found on the Drivers and Utilities CD. Insert this into the CD Rom Drive. The CDRom will Autorun and you will get the following screens..... See Below....

 

Windows NT Recovery for B2130

1. Enter the BIOS F2 and Load Setup Defaults.
Once Defaults have been loaded change the following enteries.

Boot Priority Floppy Disk (A:) Make sure that this is listed as the first boot device
2. Exit BIOS Saving Changes, Machine will restart and Boot from the Floppy Drive.
3. Insert the Recovery Boot Diskette Provided with you Mini CD or Click here to download the Latest Version (recomended).
4. When prompted type Select the option to install windows from the CDRom Drive.
5. Follow the On-Screen Instructions and install Windows NT.
6. Once Windows has finished installing the basic application you will need to install the Windows NT Service Pack and LifeBook Drivers. To do this you first need to install the CDRom driver so you can run the Drivers and Utility CD to load the remainder of the drivers.
7. From Windows Control Panel select SCSI Adapters. Under the drivers tab select Add.
8. Select the Have Disk button, and insert the Floppy disk with the NT CDrom driver on. Select ARCTPI from the device list and install. System will restart
9. You should now have a working CDROM Drive.
10. First you will need to install the Latest Windows NT Service Pack. Once you have inserted the Service Pack CD it will autorun and upgrade the Windows NT.
11. Once the service pack has installed you need to install the remaining drivers and utilities. These can be found on the Drivers and Utilities CD. Insert this into the CD Rom Drive. The CDRom will Autorun and you will get the following screens..... See Below....

Select the LifeBook Model and Operating system required.
Care must be taken to select the correct model a the installation of the wrong driver / utility can cause errors in the operating system.
Click on the advace arrow to continue.

Select the Driver or Utility that you wish to install.
Once this has been done one or more of the buttons on the bottom will be Highlighted depending on the available methods of installation of this device. Install selected device or utility.
Repeat this process for all the Drivers and Utilities that you wish to install
