Chipset: a. Autorun the DUCD and browse to the following location:-
Driver - Chipset - Intel - 8xx - Version folder (double click) b. Double click
Infinst_autol and the install wizard starts up. Upon the restart, the chipset
drivers are installed. 2. Video: a.
On-board Graphics: i. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:-
Driver - Video - Intel - 81x (or 845 - choose the relevant chipset) - W9x - Version
folder (double click) ii. Double click the Driver.exe. Unzip the file
(it extracts to c:\fsc.tmp\video), the installation wizard then starts
up automatically and the video driver will be installed upon the restart. If you
are asked at any stage to insert the installation disk, just specify the location
of the files as c:\fsc.tmp\video. b. ATi Radeon: i.
Browse to the following location on the DUCD::- Driver - Video - ATI - Radeon
- W9x - Version folder (double click) ii. Double click the Driver.exe
file. Unzip the file (it extracts to c:\fsc.tmp\video), and then click
close. iii. Go to device manager. Under Display Adapter, double click the
Standard PCI Graphics Adapter, click on update driver and specify c:\fsc.tmp\video
as the location for the driver. c. Matrox G450: i. Browse to
the following location on the DUCD::- Driver - Video - Matrox - Gxxx - W9x
- Version folder (double click) ii. Double click the Driver.exe file.
Unzip the file (it extracts to c:\fsc.tmp\video), and the installation
wizard then starts up automatically and the video driver will be installed upon
the restart. 3. Audio: a. AD1885: a.
Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver - Audio - AD188x - Soundmax
- Version folder (double click) b. Double click the Driver.exe file.
Unzip the file (it extracts to c:\fsc.tmp\audio), the installation wizard
then starts up automatically and the audio driver will be installed upon the restart. a.
AD1981: a. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver
- Audio - AD1981 - WDM - Version folder (double click) b. Double click the
Driver.exe file. Unzip the file (it extracts to c:\fsc.tmp\audio),
the installation wizard then starts up automatically and the audio driver will
be installed upon the restart. 4. Lan: a.
Intel Pro/100: a. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:-
Driver - Network - Intel - Version folder - (double click) b. Double click
the Driver.exe file. Unzip it, the files will extract to c:\fsc.tmp\network.
C;ick close. c. Go in to device manager and update the driver for the PCI
Ethernet Controller by specifying the location as c:\fsc.tmp\network. If you
are asked to insert the disk labelled Intel Pro 100, click ok and then change
the location pathname to c:\fsc.tmp\network. a. ADMTek AN983B: a.
Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver - Network - ADMTek -
Version folder - W9x_w2k(double click) b. Double click the Driver.exe
file. Unzip it, the files will extract to c:\fsc.tmp\network. Click close.
c. Go in to device manager and update the driver for the PCI Ethernet Controller
by specifying the location as c:\fsc.tmp\network. If you are asked to insert the
disk labelled ADMTek AN983B, click ok and then change the location pathname to
c:\fsc.tmp\network. 5. Modem: a.
MSP3885-E i. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver
- Peripherals - Modem - MSP3885-E - Win9x - Version folder (double click)
ii. Double click the Sesint.exe file. Unzip the file (it extracts to
c:\fsc.tmp\modem), the installation wizard then starts up automatically and
the modem driver will be installed upon the restart. b. MSP3880-W i.
Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver - Peripherals - Modem
- MSP3880-W - Win98se - Version folder (double click) ii. Double click the
Driver.exe file. Unzip it and the files will extract to c:\fsc.tmp\modem.
iii. Go to device manager and update the driver for the PCI Communications
Device by specifying the location of the driver as c:\fsc.tmp\modem.

- Peripherals - Modem - MSP3885-E - Win9x - Version folder (double click)
ii. Double click the Sesint file. Unzip the file (it extracts to c:\fsc.tmp),
the installation wizard then starts up automatically and the modem driver will
be installed upon the restart. b. MSP3880-W i. Browse to the
following location on the DUCD:- Driver - Peripherals - Modem - MSP3880-W
- Win98se - Version folder (double click) ii. Double click the driver
file. Unzip it and the files will extract to c:\fsc.tmp\modem. iii.
Go to device manager and update the driver for the PCI Communications Device
by specifying the location of the driver as c:\fsc.tmp\modem.

folder (double click) b. Double click the setup.exe file. Run through
the installation wizard and the audio driver will be installed upon the restart. 4.
Lan: a. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver -
Network - Intel - Pro 100 - Version folder (double click) b. Double click
100pdisk and click yes on the release notes screen and accept the
licence agreement. c. Confirm that you wish to extract the files to c:\intel.
d. Using Windows explorer, browse to c:\intel. e. Double click the make
disk folder. Put a blank floppy disk in the drive, double click makew9x.
f. Using the disk created, go to device manager and update the driver for the
PCI Ethernet Controller. 5. Modem
(MSP3880-W):
In device manager under PCI Communications Device,
update driver by browsing to the following location on DUCD:- Driver - Peripheral
- Modem - MSP3880-W 6. Security for 8x0
chipsets: a. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver
- Security - Intel - 8x0 - Version folder (double click) b. Double click the
Seseng file, the file self extracts and installs. Only Install
this driver if you have an 8x0 chipset and have an unknown device in device manager

NIC - Intel - Pro 100 - Version folder (double click) b. Double click the
make disk folder and then with a blank floppy disk in the drive, double
click makew9x. c. Using the disk created, go to device manager and
update the driver for the PCI Ethernet Controller. 5.
Modem (MSP3880-W): a. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:-
Driver - Peripherals - Modem - MSP3880-W - Win98se - Version folder (double click)
b. Double click the driver file. Unzip it and the files will extract to
c:\fsc.tmp\modem c. Go to device manager and update the driver for
the PCI Communications Device by specifying the location of the driver
as c:\fsc.tmp\modem. 6. Security for 8x0
chipsets: a. Browse to the following location on the DUCD:- Driver
- Security - Intel - 8x0 - Version folder (double click) b. Double click the
