| Button Function |
Function |
| Power Button / Display backlight on/off |
Turns the system to suspend mode. All SDRAM-context will be preserved. Pressing the suspend button
will generate a wakeup event to the system.
Pressing the button longer than 2 second will switch on and off the LCD-backlight
|
| Application Buttons |
There are six application buttons on the system. Pressing any of those buttons will generate a
wakeup event to the system.
Any one button of the six button can be assigned as Camera pic capture function. Record button is one of
these buttons |
| Scroll-Up / Scroll-Down and enter lever |
This lever is intended to input “up” and “down”, it is used to move the focus for selection of
menu/icon.
The lever can be pushed to input “enter”. |
| 5-way button |
This button is intended for user navigation. Usage as camera picture capture as default |
| Reset Button |
Warm reset to the whole system. |
| Reset Button & Power Button |
Press both buttons ca. 10sec to perform Hard Reset. |
| Backup Battery switch |
Turn off the power from backup battery. All SDRAM-context will be lost. HTC propose to use hardware
reset(combination keys to clear the contents of SDRAM)
The full-reset method of combination key is okay, but the way of disconnecting sub-battery is also
necessary to protect sub-battery from over-discharging while the products are stored in warehouse.
|
| Battery Lock Switch |
For detection if user intends to exchange main battery.
System should enter the suspend state immediately when the customer operate this switch. |
