General FAQ Top

1. The Bottom PCI Slot on my xD (M65/M65E) does not work ?
The fourth slot is not used for anything at the moment as the 440BX chipset only supports 5 PCI slots of which 2 are already in use for the Network Card and Audio Chip. That leaves us with 3 available PCI slots. The fourth is there because we do not want to make two different riser cards as the Coming i820 (Camino) chipset does support 6 PCI slots and with that we have all 4 slots in use. In the current MB (xS xD) the lowest slot is disabled.

2. Why does my xD not power off when I shutdown Windows NT ?
You need a special HAL (Windows NT Hardware Abstraction Layer Driver) to do this. You can download it here: HALxDxS.EXE
